Popsicles

 Today I made a slide about Popsicles.

 This week in Maths, we have been focusing on measurement. We are doing an Olympic challenge .

I really enjoyed doing the tinfoil canoes. It was exciting seeing the rocks make the canoes slowly start to sink. We were seeing who's canoe lasted the longest in the water with rocks in them. My canoe did not last the longest!

Something that was a bit tricky was throwing the javelin stick because when you threw it it did not go straight because of the wind.

I am really looking forward to the athletics challenges next week.

My holiday

In the holidays me and my family went to Kmart in Whakatane. We went there to get some new clothes and my Dad said if we listen we can get a toy so I listened. 

My Dad said I could collect  a Nerf gun so I started to inspect the Nerf guns. I walked past a dinosaur gun but I didn't like it so I went past another Nerf gun and then I found a gigantic Nerf gun! It was blue and red, it was gigantic shotgun! My little Brother got a dinosaur Nerf gun.

In the first week off the holidays I went to my mum's work at preschool, I was helping her cook for the kids. Also my little brother tried to lock my mum outside so she ran right on time, when the door slammed  on his finger and we had to rush him to the hospital. He got his finger glued.

Term 2 Reflection

I learnt that Jean Batten  was a pilot.

I learnt that Jean Batten flew from England to Australia.

My Mum.

 On Friday my Mum came to our Mothers Day Celebration. I liked making  my Mum's tea and her cupcake. When my Mum came to our Mothers Day Celebration we played Noughts and Crosses. My Mum kept on winning.
